HQ, so we were over the moon when the gorgeous Miffy Shape Sorter arrived on our doorstep. The shape sorter is made from wood, with four wooden shapes and corresponding holes. It’s beautifully, but simply, illustrated with bright Miffy and Dick Bruna related paintings. Busby has loved pointing out her favourite characters. The sorter is on the smaller side (15cm x 14cm), which makes it ideal for storing away on bookshelves or in toy boxes. It would make the cutest gift for a first or second birthday, or even a Christmas present. The afternoon was glorious; starting with champagne and a chat, followed by a delicious afternoon tea, and ending in a blissful hour of spa treatments. The ladies at Little Angels wanted to chat to us about their range. We use a combination of cloth nappies and disposables in our household; usually Sainsbury’s own brand, as that’s where we shop, so I was surprised at how vast the ASDA range is! Little Angels is the only nappy brand that covers from birth to potty, and even have a range of bedtime pants going up to age 12. Did you know that 85% of mums surveyed said that they preferred the Little Angels nappies to the leading brand? And the range has recently won a Mother & Baby award – beating both Aldi and Pampers! I was enthralled! Turtledove London are a relatively new brand (launched February 2016) – and are completely new to me. I stumbled across them on Instagram (as all good children’s clothing love stories begin) and I have been hooked ever since. Their clothes are all GOTS certificated organic cotton, and they have got their pricing so right that I will be buying from them season after season. We’re off to Yorkshire Sculpture Park with Franki and Luca from Wonderful Chaos tomorrow though, so I can’t wait to share those photos with you next week!! Despite feeling awful for a lot of the last seven days, we had a wonderful Saturday in the garden though; enjoying the last of the heatwave – garden picnics, paddling pool splashing, water fights, and cuddles!
